I’m Heidi.. and Vita Bella Photography is my business. I started Vita Bella, officially, in 2005. However, I like to say that I was “officially, official” back when I started getting paid to do photography work. However, my focus has changed since then, I no longer shoot for beer money and I am (for lack of better words) more legitimate now!! I also don’t just give a roll of film to the nearest developer anymore either. I shoot all digital (although I do miss film and enjoyed developing in a black room) and use only the best for my prints!

I am an artist at heart, since I was a wee one I was creating and exercising my artistic skills. From painting murals for the nursery, creating logo’s for my design business (check out my design link) to doing makeup and hair… I love to create and am truly inspired by the artistic things in life.

Vita Bella (Italian for Beautiful Life) was inspired and started with my first digital SLR camera (which I still have and use as a back up). My 20D was a gift from my fabulous husband and the beginning of a new adventure… a ride I’m still excited to be on!
